Liking posts and having people like your posts also helps. Typing more in a chat, and expanding on your answers, help to get you picked as the leading answer.

Using the @name helps to get people to like your posts. The thumbs up shows up either at the bottom or right of the line of chat, next to the <3 favorite button.

You earn reputation and badges, which will improve your pay per question as you level up.

You can check your profile to see your level, badges, earning balance, and bonus for asking questions. You will also find settings there for your withdrawal and topics you know about.
